WINTER CAMP #16

Mon 5 - Fri 9 July 2021, for 8-14 year olds   
Camp includes all meals and accommodation, a complimentary Winter Camp Hoodie with your name* on it, outdoor activities, supervision, new friendships and heaps of holiday fun.

Transport from and to Melbourne
Need transport to camp? Cave Hill Creek also provides accompanied return transport to camp from Southern Cross. If you would like your child to use this service it is essential to pre-book with us. Tickets are $60pp return. Monday morning pick up and Fri afternoon drop off details to be confirmed closer to camp.

What information do I need to provide when I book? 
When you book your child's place on camp we will request contact, medical, dietary and other personal details.  This ensures we can best care for your child.  

Can I request to share a Room or Activity Group with a friend? 
Yes. Campers are generally allocated a room with campers of the same gender and near the same age, and activity groups with campers near the same age.  We will endeavour to accommodate requests for friends/cousins/siblings etc to share a room or activity group where appropriate.  Please submit your request at the time of booking, using full names and describing the relationship.

What do I bring on camp?
Your email booking confirmation includes a packing list (including what not to bring) for camp.

Children with Special Needs  
Cave Hill Creek is an inclusive and friendly camp. To best cater for children with special needs on Summer and Winter Camp, we have partnered with People Outdoors, specialists at providing camps for people with physical or intellectual disabilities. People Outdoors is a registered NDIS provider and DHHS certified. Unfortunately People Outdoors are unable to offer any places on Winter Camp.  They do however run camps throughout the year.  Details can be found at www.peopleoutdoors.org.au  Additional places will be available at Summer Camp.

COVID-19
Cave Hill Creek is a COVID-19 safe venue.  Camp will be conducted within relevant Victorian COVID-19 guidelines with social distancing and safe hygiene practices.  In the event Govt restrictions do not allow your child to attend, or camp to be cancelled, or you have been instructed to self isolate due to illness, being a close contact or awaiting a test result, you will be entitled to a full refund (medical certificate or COVID-19 testing evidence required).

What's the cancellation / refund policy?   
You can transfer to a different camp (subject to availability) or cancel and request a full refund up to 14 days prior to camp. All transfer requests / cancellations should be in writing to info@cavehillcreek.com.au.  A $100 administration fee will apply to refunds for all cancellations not related to COVID-19.

Payment Options
Payment is due at time of booking.  Bookings prior to 31 May can choose to pay by instalment (50% on booking, 50% on 15 June) is available.  A payment receipt is automatically emailed when a payment is processed.  We do not hold places on camp and are unable to provide invoices.  

What are arrival and departure times?  
Arrival: Please arrive for registration between 10.30-11.15am Monday. A Welcome and Opening Ceremony will be held at 11.30am.    
Departure: Please arrive to collect your child from 11am Friday. A Farewell and Closing Ceremony will be held at 11.30am, followed by light lunch for campers and families, with final departure by 1pm.    
Parents & family are invited to join us for Welcome and Farewell Ceremonies.

* To ensure named Hoodie, camp place will need to be booked and paid by Tuesday 16th June 2021.
